Dalibor Mráz
AI Director at Webvalley · I lead ČERNÁ.AI
I work in artificial intelligence as an independent AI delivery lead and as AI Director at Webvalley AI, where I lead AI development and applied research. With several teams we build specialized solutions for the global market: from pharmaceutical projects and intelligent tools for working with scientific data to custom AI models, for example for large-scale real estate systems.
I founded the non-commercial platform ČERNÁ.AI under the Černá kostka project. We develop innovation, education and international collaboration in AI in the Moravian-Silesian Region and across the Czech Republic. We connect developers, research institutions, the public sector and Czech changemakers. The goal of ČERNÁ.AI is know-how transfer and AI development.
I hold an engineering degree (Ing.) from the Pan-European University (2024), with a thesis on AI and business models. I mentor across Europe, Canada and the US. In 2025 I was named AI Personality, Discovery of the Year.

Who is Dalibor Mráz and what does he do?
I focus on bringing artificial intelligence into companies and institutions. I lead AI development projects from idea to deployment and help companies get artificial intelligence from prototype to production with measurable ROI. AI adoption takes many forms: some need a consultation, some a multi-day training, some want me to lead their AI Drivers, and others want me to run their AI development.
How does working together look, and what do you offer?
I offer four formats: AI consultations as an hour of sparring on your situation; keynotes, training and workshops; a long-term AI acceleration partnership, where you get a guaranteed block of hours each month that I dedicate to you; and AI custom development, where I build a dev team and deliver a solution all the way to deployment. You can enter at any level, wherever you currently are.
Do you work in both the private and public sector?
Yes. In the private sector I lead AI development and acceleration inside companies as an independent professional and work as AI Director at Webvalley AI. In the public sector I help build AI communities and know-how transfer at Černá kostka, the new building of the Moravian-Silesian Research Library (an institution of the Moravian-Silesian Region), where I lead the ČERNÁ.AI platform.
What is ČERNÁ.AI?
ČERNÁ.AI is a platform I co-founded with Andrej Harmeček (director of Černá kostka) under the regional institution Černá kostka. It is the official platform of the Moravian-Silesian Region for supporting AI innovation and education. Its strategy is to drive AI adoption both bottom-up and top-down and, with our own dev team, build internal and shared apps that increase efficiency and performance.
How much is a consultation and how does the acceleration partnership work?
An AI consultation is 2,306 CZK per hour excl. VAT, with discounted monthly hour bundles available. In the acceleration partnership I allocate your company a block of hours per month (say 10 or 25) and, as an external partner, work on AI adoption hands-on alongside your internal AI Driver. Custom AI/IT development is priced by scope.
What is an AI Driver and the AI DRIVERS community?
An AI Driver is someone who drives AI forward in their own company, whether they run it or push AI from the inside. No IT background or AI expertise needed. The AI DRIVERS community (aidrivers.cz) is nationwide and free: we meet online every week over concrete problems from practice, and members get access to experts and 1:1 consultations.
Where and in which languages do you work?
I am based in Ostrava and help companies across the Czech Republic and abroad. I handle projects for both Czech and international clients, working in Czech and English, and I mentor across Europe, Canada and the US.
What is your current capacity?
For consultations I can always find hours each month, but the AI acceleration partnership is fully booked until September. On the development side we are currently handling several projects, so if we agree to work together I can realistically start in a matter of months. If something is on fire, get in touch and we’ll try to solve it.
What kind of AI development can you build?
We focus mainly on language models (LLMs) and computer vision. For custom solutions we usually deploy open-source models, or fine-tune them for the specific situation and needs directly on the client’s data. We also set up a company’s data architecture for both AI-ready and AI-native companies. The goal is to build a system that is tunable, maintainable and cost-optimized. For many clients we also completely redesign processes and turn them into AI-ready workflows.
